Wes Sunderland’s Tool Making Group: First Tuesday of the month, May 7th, “tool making” sub-group meeting, 6:30 pm. Wes’ shop, Baldwin. We will review the “dove tail marker” and move onto the “cam operated deep reach clamp”. The group is approaching a larger project to make “bar clamps”, a proto type is close to final design. For new interested members, meeting is a discussion of tool projects planned and other tools. We do not make these tools at the meeting but return to home shop to become involved in the making. CNC Group – No meeting in May. June 15th meeting at Gene’s shiny new shop. Details to follow later. The plan is for people to do an inlay carving for this meeting so we can compare and discuss.
